Learning through Leadership

An important characteristic of librarians is leadership. In the context of a library, leading means to help people see the path into the future of information.

Here is an example of a good leader librarian's skill set:

  • Being able to make decisions

  • Being able to share knowledge

  • Being able to teach

  • Being able to create an environment conducive to learning
