Bibliographies are just as important as the presentation of research that you can give. Firstly, they provide credibility for all of your information. Secondly, they allow people who want to know more about your research follow your path to learn more. Below you will find the guidelines for print resources and online resources from the four main styles of bibliography: MLA, APA, Turabian and Chicago.

 

MLA

Books

Lastname, Firstname. Title of Book. Place of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Medium of Publication.

Online

Author(s). “Article Title.” Source. Publisher/Sponsor of site if given, Date of item or last update of site. Database. Medium. Date of access. URL for non-database Web site.

 

APA

Books

Author(s). (year). Book title (edition if given). Where published: Publisher.

Online

Author(s). (year). Article title. Name of Journal, volume (issue), pages. Retrieved from journal URL

 

Turabian

Books

Author Last, First. Title. Location of Publisher: Publisher, Year of Pub.

Online

Last Name, First of Author. Title. URL (accessed Month Day, Year).

 

Chicago

Books

Database
